Peter Oostveen

After an intensive and extensive medical career which included medical assistance during the Romanian revolution in December 1989, Mr. R. Peter Oostveen has refocused on hospital infrastructure and its logistics, and the construction implementation thereof.

Since 1991 he is working in Romania as a designer, consultant and owner of a construction company.

Due to the local experience gathered, starting from 1994 he concluded a variety of major projects, which in some cases were funded partially through outside financial contributions and which implied a multitude of skills such as logistics, financial monitoring, and site management.

This evolved in numerous executions of in house designs and in the development of the concept and interior design and its execution of the architectural monument “Palatul Telefoanelor”.

His essential contribution on the reopening of the National Museum of Art of Romania and the Museum of Art Collection was recognized by way of a decoration given by the president of Romania.

Peter is a full member of A.D.R. Geneva – mediator and trainer in mediation.
