Cristian Ilie

My name is Cristian Daniel Ilie, and I am a lawyer with 6 years of professional experience. I began my career in the field of criminal law, as a pleading attorney, actively participating in judicial procedures during the criminal investigation phase. During this time, I assisted clients in complex cases handled by the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA), the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT), and the Prosecutor’s Offices attached to the Courts of Appeal, gaining in-depth knowledge of procedural strategy and defense in high-stakes cases.

Subsequently, I strengthened my expertise by opening my own law office, where I collaborated with law firms in Bucharest assisting banking and non-banking financial institutions. My work focused on complex enforcement procedures, insolvency, and litigation regarding abusive clauses in credit agreements, areas in which I successfully combined legal consultancy with courtroom advocacy. This period gave me a broad perspective on commercial and financial law, integrating both advisory and litigation services.

Since 2024, I have been part of the Iordache & Asociații team, where I continue my activity with the same passion and dedication, specializing in administrative law, criminal law, and commercial law.

I hold a Master’s degree in Financial, Banking, and Insurance Law, which enables me to approach complex cases in these fields with solid academic preparation. I also have significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, being an advocate of pragmatic and efficient strategies, always placing the client’s interests first.

The motto I strongly believe in is: “There are no small problems or lost causes. There are only well-thought-out steps.” This principle guides my professional activity and the way I approach every case.
